AVD Reform was founded in 1978 from the intuition of President Olivio Ravasini: to develop natural products to preserve the psychophysical well-being of the individual, in its most complete sense, which goes beyond the absence of pathology. The individual and their well-being have always been at the center of the company.
We consider health as the combination of factors that influence the quality of life of every human being and, with this idea, we produce safe supplements with effective active ingredients.
Every day we commit to research, selection of raw materials, and the development of our nutraceuticals that allow individuals to rediscover harmony and well-being in a 360-degree approach.
In 2008, Francesco Ravasini, the President’s son, joined the company, continuing the family business tradition. Today he serves as the CEO of AVD Reform.
1978 - AVD Reform is born
From an idea of President Olivio Ravasini, AVD Reform was established with the aim of developing products based on medicinal herbs, to preserve the psychophysical well-being of individuals, even in the absence of pathology.
1998: The historic headquarters
AVD settles in Noceto with the acquisition of the production area.
2004: New energy
Francesco Ravasini, son of Olivio and current CEO, joins the company. A generational transition that brings new vitality to the company’s entrepreneurial direction.
2005: Our products are born
AVD Reform branded products are born. The production of AVD-branded supplements continues in the laboratories in Noceto.
2010 - The study of medicinal mushrooms begins
Interest in the ancient tradition of medicinal mushrooms is increasing in the West, leading to AVD’s studies that produced scientific evidence on the benefits of micotherapy for the body.
2010 - Aloha Medicinals
AVD receives the national exclusive for the commercialization of Aloha Medicinals supplements, the largest international producer of micotherapy products
2013 - Micotherapy
Our micotherapy line, Micotherapy®, is born.

PRODUCTION AND SAFETY
Our production chain complies with the highest safety standards.
We produce in our laboratories, directly communicating with qualified suppliers. We have defined a strict processing protocol that values every step. Safety means certified raw materials, storage in suitable facilities, traceability, and stability of active ingredients to ensure the declared amounts on the label.
Essential to all our design, development, and production processes are the phytochemical knowledge of plants and their active ingredients. We verify all information from the traditional use of medicinal plants and mushrooms, such as obtaining concentrated derivatives for modern intake forms like drops, capsules, and macerates.
MICOTHERAPY
Micotherapy is the answer to the great needs of the individual.
Micotherapy is a branch of phytotherapy with a millennia-old history. The first mention in Traditional Chinese Medicine books, discussing the use of medicinal mushrooms for promoting well-being and longevity, dates back over 5,300 years.
Micotherapy has been rediscovered and rehabilitated in the West as a valid remedy to support individual health, both preventively and otherwise, thanks to scientific studies highlighting the therapeutic properties of medicinal mushrooms.
RESEARCH AND TRAINING
We promote a scientific culture of nutraceuticals to train health professionals
AVD Reform products rely on scientific evidence resulting from numerous studies conducted with national institutional bodies. We believe in a scientific culture of nutraceuticals, supporting university and hospital research to study medicinal plants and mushrooms in laboratoris and their therapeutic application. Beyond supporting research, we aim to train health professionals by organizing classroom ECM, webinars, and online events for continuous educational development.
