Aloha Cordyceps

Aloha Cordyceps

Cordyceps sinensis is a medicinal mushroom with a wide range of uses; native to the Himalayas, it grows at altitudes above 3,000 meters and has been used in China for about two thousand years. In Traditional Chinese Medicine it is considered a powerful tonic for the kidneys, the seat of our vital energy.

Properties

Cordyceps has always been considered one of the most powerful remedies made available by nature. In Traditional Chinese Medicine it was used to support the immune system and for the recovery of convalescence situations even from very debilitating diseases.

It is currently considered an anti-aging remedy, an adaptogenic tonic, capable of improving the use and production of cellular energy, and also promotes aerobic cellular metabolism, giving the body greater resistance.

Cordyceps Sinensis contains proteins, peptides and all essential amino acids, polysaccharides and glycoproteins with immunomodulatory action, sterols, including ergosterol (precursor of vitamin D), nucleoside analogues, polyunsaturated fatty acids, vitamins, including B1, B2, B12, E and K and numerous minerals. Numerous clinical studies have shown that Cordyceps improves liver function (activation of Kupfer cells), regulates liver enzyme levels and the lipid profile.
